Energizing or sleepy?

Mostly calming, by most accounts. Leafly places Papaya Punch on the calming side of its scale and puts sleepy first among its top effects, and AllBud and Crop King describe a lift that gives way to a heavy body feeling.1,3,6 Accounts differ on how heavy: the Oklahoma Gazette’s reviewer felt calm but not couch-locked, and the Oni Seed Co description on SeedFinder speaks of energy and joy.5,7 Both parents lean the same way: Leafly rates Papaya and Purple Punch mostly calming.8,9

Why two batches can feel different

Potency alone varies widely: one in ten lab-tested batches came in under 13.23% THC and one in ten above 26.80%, and state medians ran from 12.34% in Hawaii (11 tests) to 25.89% in California (13).10 The seed lines differ too: Oni Seed Co’s are regular seeds, while Crop King and Rocket Seeds sell feminized seed with their own specifications (see genetics).6,11,12
